Two great days full of emotions, emotions and rivalry at the highest level. Add to this the charming atmosphere of the village of Zamarski and we have a short but true description of what happened during the 6th edition of the Puchar Sołtysa in table football. Players from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia competed in three events: Open Singles, Women Singles and Open Doubles. This year, the tournament was organised at the White Eagle Primary School in Zamarski. The first day of the competition saw qualification (on 15 Leonhart tables) played in a Swiss system and one round of the knockout stage. The evening was filled with fierce duels during the open-air After Party in the Zamarski park, where the Garlando Style DYP was held #dlaLizaka. The players competed in exciting battles under Classic rules.
On the second day of the competition, the decisive knockout phase was played, for which the tournament hall was adjusted to accommodate the appropriate number of tables. There were also novelties - live coverage with commentary on the YouTube channel and a wellness area, where finalists could benefit from massages, rehabilitation and expert advice.
Throughout the tournament, competitors were able to use a dedicated relaxation and refreshment area managed by the Mayor of Zamarski himself.

The first edition was born in hardship. Several postponements due to the pandemic and many unlucky coincidences that we don't even want to mention made us even more committed to the organisation.

The Amateur Table Football Club of Zamarski, which was founded shortly after the first edition, joined the ranks of co-organisers. Such a close-knit team meant that every problem found a solution. The final date of the tournament fell on a cool but sunny May afternoon. The new venue for the event was Karczma u Źródełka. Unlike the first edition, this time the competition was held in two categories: Amateur and Semi-pro. On the tables respectively: Garlando Pro Champion and Garlando World Champion. There were 10 teams competing in each category, which were divided into two groups. Four teams advanced to the semi-finals, in fierce battles to advance to the finals in their respective categories.

Eight poles, one table and four enthusiasts of this unusual game, who are all focused on the movement of the orange ball, which moves at a rapid pace from one end of the court to the other.

That, in a nutshell, is how the first edition of the Puchar Sołtysa tournament in table football - popularly known as 'foosball' - could be described. The tournament started on 22 August at 4 p.m. on the stage of the Zamarski park.
Twenty teams took part and competed for interesting prizes: a scenic flight by plane, a weekend in a villa, shopping vouchers and vouchers for an exquisite dinner.

The main prize was the extremely beautiful Village Mayor's Cup, which went to the team of Pineapples

composed of: Jakub Krzysiak and Łukasz Hankus, who in the final played late in the evening beat the team of The Moomins composed of Tomasz Lesiński and Tomasz Sapela.

Third place went to the team FC Aliens composed of: Piotrek Neugebauer and Rafał Kocur beating the local team Europe composed of: Radosław Rychły and Krzysztof Zawadka.

The tournament was organised as part of cooperation with the Zamarsk Lovers' Association, Zamarski TV and the Orlen Foundation.
